cold turkey...

bleh. so the site i write for is DOWN while the server is being moved, which absolutely stinks because we weren't told it was going to be moved. i found out while in the middle of a message board post on a preview of the land of the dead game (xbox, pc), which is looking like a nice sleeper (despite some technical issues in the demo i played). anyway, we thought it was another power outage or something, but after 24 hours, we were all getting quite antsy.

needless to say, each hour that ticked by made one more now grey hair drop from our pointy heads while conspiracy theories floated back and forth via e-mail. anyway, it's been about 3 1/2 days, but progress has been made, according to the folks running the server. but i'll wait to see if everything is as smooth as we hope before i start jumping up and down... as much fun as burnout: revenge is, it's hard to enjoy the game when you don't even know if you'll get to actually write about it...
